Why Screen in the Workplace?

International research shows that screening in the workplace accesses those that are time-constrained, and opens up discussion about preventative health, leading to sustained positive health outcomes.

With the total cost to the economy of work-related injuries and illnesses estimated at almost $60 billion per annum by the Australian Safety and Compensation Council (2009), pXs seeks to provide and assist corporations and companies with preventative health screening methods to help them overcome the significant costs incurred due to illness and injury.

Why Screen in the Community?

By screening within the community, pXs are able to reach target populations including under- and unemployed people, immigrants and refugees, who would otherwise find it hard to access healthcare for a variety of reasons, such as financial, language, and cultural barriers.

pXs seeks to provide and assist communities with preventative health screening methods to help them overcome the significant costs incurred as a consequence of adverse health outcomes. Improving health outcomes within the community will reduce healthcare costs and personal trauma, providing people with a greater capacity to fully engage in community life and in the workforce.
